Connect manufacturer product data to your working catalogue.
OVERXXI can connect to an authorised manufacturer API, PIM feed or distributor product service and bring supported catalogue data into the same workspace used for gate configuration, technical review and quotation.
What a connection can synchronise
Depending on the information made available by the provider, an integration can import product names, SKUs, categories, descriptions, dimensions, technical specifications, product photographs, documentation, accessories, compatibility relationships and commercial data authorised for your account.
BIM, CAD, GLB and visual representation
If the authorised feed includes BIM, CAD, GLB or another supported 3D asset, OVERXXI can associate that asset with the catalogue product for visual and AR workflows. Where only dimensions are supplied, the platform may create a clearly identified dimensional preview. A preview is not an exact manufacturer model and must not be represented as one.
Technical rules remain controlled
Specifications and compatibility data can be used to prepare technical-rule proposals. Imported or AI-assisted proposals are advisory until an authorised administrator reviews and approves them. OVERXXI does not silently turn catalogue text into an authoritative installation rule.
How the connection works
An administrator enters the provider endpoint and authorised credentials, selects the destination category and defines how the provider's fields map to the OVERXXI catalogue. The connection can then be tested before any synchronisation is run. Credentials are protected and are not displayed back to ordinary users.
Each supplier can use a different schema. A valid API key provides access, but the available fields, permissions, update frequency and media rights still depend on that supplier's service and agreement.
Built for legitimate manufacturer and distributor access
The integration is intended for APIs, PIM feeds and product services that your organisation is authorised to use. It does not promise access to a manufacturer's private catalogue and does not bypass licensing, attribution, download or redistribution restrictions. Public web pages are not treated as a substitute for an authorised product feed.
From supplier data to operational work
Once reviewed, catalogue products can support configurations, bills of materials, quotations and visualisation without repeatedly copying the same specification between systems. Existing manual products and approved visual assets remain under the organisation's control.
