Help customers see the configured gate at their property.
The OVERXXI mobile experience can visualise the selected gate design and opening movement, then support AR-assisted placement at the installation location.
Visualise the selected configuration
Preview the gate using the recorded dimensions and design so the visual discussion stays connected to the technical job.
Demonstrate opening movement
Show representative movement for supported sliding, swing, bifold, cantilever and barrier systems to improve customer and installer understanding.
AR-assisted placement
Authorised field users can position the configured gate in the camera view. AR is a visual aid and does not replace verified measurements, engineering judgement or safety checks.
A visual conversation connected to the job
OVERXXI uses the configured gate type, design and dimensions to support a visual preview. Customers and installers can discuss proportion, opening direction and movement with a shared reference instead of relying only on imagination or a generic catalogue photograph.
The preview remains attached to the project context, helping reduce the risk that a visually approved design belongs to a different measurement or earlier configuration.
Prepare the AR environment
Use a supported Android device, clean the camera lens and choose an area with good, even light and visible surface detail. Move the device slowly so tracking can establish the environment. Highly reflective, dark or featureless surfaces can make placement less stable.
Stand where the complete opening and useful ground area are visible. Avoid traffic and other hazards while looking through the screen. AR should never distract the operator from safe movement around the site.
Anchor, align and review
Follow the in-app prompts to establish the reference, aim at the requested gate edge and confirm the placement points. Review the gate from several positions, checking that the apparent ground contact and orientation remain sensible as the camera moves.
If the model drifts or jumps, reset the session and repeat the scan rather than forcing the visual into place. Save only a placement that is understandable and identify it as an AR-assisted preview.
Know the limits
Camera calibration, tracking quality, lighting, surface detection and manual point selection all affect the result. AR does not prove clearances, foundation requirements, structural strength, safe-force performance or compliance.
Use the preview to support communication and design review. Use verified measurements, drawings, manufacturer data and competent technical assessment for fabrication and installation decisions.
